"I was a panelist at the STEM Advocacy Council of Texas in November of 2019. I was amazed at how well planned and organized the event was at the Texas State Capitol, from the team initially reaching out to me to when I left the event. The team provided helpful materials on the day of the event. The students were so very professional from greeting me at the door, having a separate room for the panelists, and thanking me for my time. The student leaders of SACOT give us much hope for the future.

I was also a panelist at Team Appreciate's Ice Cream Social that focused on the development of girls in STEM and any advice I would give to them. I was honored to be a part of their event speaking to girls about what is happening today and what the future would hold in terms of jobs. This team understands the reasons why it is so very important to place on spotlight on girls and women in STEM."
